About
Welcome to my EduBlog. This is far from my first outpost on the web, and surely not my last — it’s more of another data point in a life spent online. A good chunk of the days (and a few of the nights) of that life are spent working at a liberal arts college in Pennsylvania, where I’m the web applications specialist.
Mine is a diverse job, combining programming, research, testing and implementation into a sort of academic geek nirvana. Some projects are of my own design, others involve customizing and deploying existing web applications.
Prior to my current job, I worked at Drew University for seven years as the school’s web specialist. That job involved a number of internal and external web applications, but the public web site was my primary responsibility. Before that, I was the online/systems editor at the Pocono Record, a daily newspaper in Stroudsburg, Pa.
